The storybook Soiree is the event that most Mimikyn have grown to look forward to each year, and Harper is no different. Although she wishes it wasn’t treated so… “classy”? She mostly would just prefer not to dress up, but she knows that making these outfits for everyone brings them a sense of purpose so Harper begrudgingly gets the new dresses. This year’s theme was Cosmo, and while at first Harper was uncertain how the more sewing talented minikin would interpret the theme, But she was pleasantly surprised. The colors were darker on this gown, and the details embroidered with the care of someone who clearly enjoys their craft, and that makes it all the more special. Harper always requests they leave a little opening in the front for her clock, as it has a weird shape and she does NOT like how it feels when it is under clothing. She swayed from side to side, the loose fabric swishing, the golden accents glistening and twinkle from the light of a candle. There is just one thing missing... The ribbon! The little curly mouse scurries to her stash and pulls out a blue ribbon, it was perfect! After just a few alterations to the ribbon it was the perfect edition to the outfit and Harper was ready to show this beautiful dress.
