Dungeons
There is something strange about the cerulean wisteria of Lockheart Manor. Strange, but special. For if a Minikin falls asleep in the flowers' clutches, their consciousness travels beyond the waking world and into the Lady's dreams. When the Lady sleeps a dreamless sleep, the Minikin find themselves wandering the winding paths of The Slumberlands. But when her slumber weaves a story, the dreamscape transforms, taking adventurers to wonderful worlds that can only exist in the imagination. Will you venture into deep sleep today?
Introduction
Welcome to Dungeons, a custom extension found only in Lockheart Legacy! Dungeons blend roguelike gameplay and ARPG aspects to create a fully interacteable dungeon-crawling experience. There are multiple encounter types, allowing you to battle enemies, craft equipment to best stat checks, or simply sit back and collect free loot!
Basic Dungeon Items
To begin, all you need is the Wisteria of Dreams. This item can be used to enter in any available Dungeon. You may also use the Slumber Mask to skip prompt checkpoints, so that your run can continue seamlessly. Information on additional Dungeon Supplies and mechanics can be found below!

A single wisteria flower that radiates an ethereal glow. When you touch it, you begin to feel drowsy... and then you begin to dream.
Character Levels & Stats
All Minikin start at LVL 1 with 20 points in each of the following stats: Strength, Wits, and Agility. You can earn EXP to level up your Minikin by participating in ARPG prompts; most prompts award the same amount EXP as Farthings. Upon each level-up, you will earn stat points that you can freely distribute (although it is recommended to distribute evenly). All of this can be found in the Stat Information tab of your character's profile!

Dungeon Progression
Here is a breakdown of the progression of a typical Dungeon run. Please note that Dungeons are not meant to be easy, and you will most definitely not be able to clear all 10 levels of the Slumberlands right off the bat! This aspect of the ARPG is meant create long-term goals, from clearing the Slumberlands to collecting rare equipment and Dungeon supply items. So don't be discouraged if you are KO'd, that is the natural progression!
You character will enter with 100 HP. Their stats will be snapshotted upon entering, so make sure to gear up beforehand! Even if you level up or change their equipment, the stats recorded from the start of the run will not change! Additionally, characters in active runs cannot be traded.
There are multiple levels in each dungeon, with 5 encounters per level. As you go on, stat check and combat encounters become more difficult, but the rewards also become greater! The last encounter in a level will always be combat.
If you clear every level in a dungeon, you will emerge victorious and win a large prize. However, if your HP reaches 0, you will be KO'd and your run will end. In most cases, you will be KO'd, as dungeons are not meant to be easy! You will keep all of your loot regardless of outcome.
Encounters

Encounter Interface
Here is a short video showing the UI interface inside of a dungeon! Simply click "Explore," then click through the encounter. You will see that the third encounter looks a little different- it's a stat check! Stat check and combat encounters require you to complete a prompt (or use a Slumber Mask) before proceeding, and they will direct you to that prompt. You can also end a run at any time and keep all of your rewards!
1. Text
Narrative, story-like events to keep this interesting!
2. Loot
Unique encounters that grant you a random item. Possible rewards include common Scavenging finds, Petals, Dungeon Supplies, or even Equipment!
3. Stat Check
This type of encounter requires you to complete a prompt OR use Slumber Mask x1 before proceeding in the run. Once passed, a single stat is checked against the DC. If you succeed, the run will continue smoothly, but if you fail, you will lose HP before continuing.
4. Combat
This type of encounter requires you to complete a prompt OR use Slumber Mask x1 before proceeding in the run. Once passed, you will enter into multi-turn combat, where you have four action options: Attack, Heal, Item, or Flee. More information below!
Combat
Combat functions similarly to repeated stat checks! In simple terms, a single stat is repeatedly checked against an enemy DC (difficulty class), and damage is distributed based on a combination of the difference in stats, random variance, and various hidden factors. It is strongly recommended to distribute your stat points evenly rather than leaning too heavily into a single stat, as you never know which stat will be checked for your next combat (or stat check) encounter!
Combat Options Per Turn:
- Attack: Damage is dealt and received!
- Heal: Use Tea to restore HP. Keep in mind that there is a limit to how many times you can heal per combat encounter.
- Item: Use Cheese to temporarily buff a single stat, allowing you to fare better in regular Attacks (if you choose the correct stat). Or, you can use Perfume to deal flat damage, though your character will still take damage.
- Flee: Attempt to escape. If successful, it counts as clearing the combat encounter!
Dungeon supplies

Tea (HEALING)
Tea can be used in combat to restore HP via the "Heal" button! The enemy will not attack during this turn. However, keep in mind that there is a limit to how many times you can heal per combat encounter, so be sure to choose the correct brew. There are six types of Tea, ranging from HP +5 to HP +30.

Cheese (SUPPORTIVE)
Cheese can be used in combat to temporarily boost a single stat via the "Item" button! The enemy will not attack during this turn. There are three types of Cheese: Smoked (boosts STR), Blue (boosts WIT), and Swiss (AGI). There are also four sizes: Tiny, Small, Midsize, and Large. The stronger (larger) a cheese is, the less turns its effects will last!

Perfume (OFFENSIVE)
Perfume can be used in combat to deal flat damage to the enemy via the "Item" button! The enemy will also attack you during this turn. There are six types of Perfume, ranging from 15 DMG to 50 DMG. Use perfume when your stat is lower than the enemy's and you are struggling to deal any substantial damage!
Rewards and reinvestments
Introduction
First, here is a summary of the two currencies involves in Dungeons! Petals are the primary reward from your runs, with Petal rewards increasing as you clear more levels. Scraps are directly related to Equipment, and using a combination of these currencies, you should reinvest by working towards Equipment as well as stocking up on Dungeon Supplies through Cedric's Surprise (a gacha box available in Cedric's Dungeon Supplies)!
Petals can only be earned from Dungeons, and can be spent in Cedric's Dungeon Supplies! Petals can also be spent on past limited-time items.
Scraps are obtained by selling (scrapping) unwanted Equipment pieces. They can then be used to craft Equipment Scraps to obtain the Equipment you actually want!
Equipment
Now let's talk Equipment! Your character's equipment is very important, and it will make a huge difference in how long your run lasts. There are four rarities of Equipment: Silver, Gold, Wisteria, and Event. Event gear is considered on par with Gold gear, while Wisteria is the strongest. Note that Copper is technically also a rarity, but Copper Equipment is purely cosmetic (for dressup <3), although it can be equipped alongside non-cosmetic Equipment!
Equipment comes in sets, and each set contains one piece in each of the following categories: Finery, Headwear, Bauble, and Weapon. You are free to mismatch Equipment items between sets.
Below is a summary on different methods to acquire Equipment. Please note that Equipment is meant to be difficult to obtain, creating long-term goals for your ARPG experience!

Equipment pieces can sometimes drop from your Dungeon runs! This is very rare, however, and more commonly you will receive Petals or Scraps, which can then be used to purchase or craft the pieces you want.

You can purchase Silver rarity Equipment directly from Cedric's Dungeon Supplies for Petals. You can also purchase Cedric's Surprise, a gacha box with a chance at dropping Equipment of all rarities (as well as cosmetic Equipment and items)!

Each Equipment set has a corresponding Scrap item! 10 Scrap items can be used to craft a single piece from that set (ex. Equipment Scrap: Knight x10 for a single Knight piece). These crafting recipes are automatically unlocked.
- Silver: 4 Scraps
- Gold: 10 Scraps
- Wisteria: 25 Scraps
- Event: 20 Scraps

Your go-to gacha box! Spend your Petals to pull for a wide assortment of Dungeon supplies (teas, cheeses, perfumes, and more), Equipment Scraps, and even a small chance at full Equipment pieces.
