Stage I
You stumble upon an old travel trunk, hidden away in a dark corner of the attic. The trunk sits with its lid slightly ajar, revealing a mess of moth-eaten lace and silk. Prudence sits perched on the rim. She looks deeply distressed by the chaos inside. "This was her mother's," she sighs, her tail twitching thoughtfully. "It's a disgrace to let it sit like this. It needs order, little mouse. You can start by pulling that heavy cloak aside, so we can see what lies beneath."

Stage II
As the fabric moves, a small, framed photograph is revealed. Prudence leans in, her eyes widening. "There she is. But the frame is face-down. We can't leave her like that." She meets your gaze, and her expression softens. "It's a heavy thing for you, I know. But some things are too important to leave face-down in the dust."

Stage III
The photograph is now upright, but the glass is covered in a thick layer of dust and grime. Prudence thumps her tail in dismay. "She looks... faded." She inspects the contents of the trunk, then points to a discarded silk handkerchief lying in a corner. "Use that. Polish the glass until it's clear. I'd like to see her again."

I think she would've liked you."
